In case you were living under a rock over the weekend, or you just don’t really care for this kind of stuff (which is weird because why would you be reading this article?) Offset, of Migos fame, crashed Cardi B’s performance at the Rolling Loud Festival to very publicly ask his estranged wife to take him back.

It was one of those cringe-worthy moments where pretty much everyone in attendance winced at the awkwardness, as the Atlanta rapper came onstage with a bouquet of flowers in hand and a cake reading, “TAKE ME BACK CARDI.”

If you haven’t already, check it out below:

“I just want to tell you I’m sorry, bruh,” Offset told her. “In person. In front of the world.”

However, Cardi was having none of it as she had the flowers removed from the stage before continuing with her show.

Ahh – you sort of feel sorry for him really, don’t you?

We’ve all been rejected at some point in our lives, but to have it done to you on stage in front of thousands of people by your own wife – well that’s just something most people don’t recover from.

If you’re wondering why the two are at odds, basically, they got married last year but have recently split after various cheating rumours.

Since then, Offset’s been pretty vocal in his efforts to win her back, with this being his latest ploy to get her back on side.

But after keeping silent, the rapper has finally addressed his stage stunt while apologising for his actions.

Here’s what he had to say:

“All of my wrong have been made public, i figure It’s only right that my apologies are made public too. A n**ga was just trying to…. thank god I ain’t got no balloons sheeesh,” he wrote.

Is it me that thinks he’s a bloody good bloke?

I mean, despite the infidelity, obviously.

Shortly after the incident, Cardi took to Instagram to respond, asking fans and viewers not to go after Offset. “The whole coming at my baby father bull sh*t — that doesn’t make me feel any better,” she says.

I appreciate all the love! But what I need most right now from my fans is support and respect.

Who knows where Offset and Cardi go from here, but after writing this article I have to say I’m rooting for them.

Just sort your differences out and make it happen, guys.
