I don’t know if you’ll remember, but a few years ago on one of the kids’ TV channels, there was a section where a man was singing a jovial tune about flying a kite.

Other than the fact that I don’t think anyone’s actually flown a kite since the 70s, that’s utterly not noteworthy, or least of all not worth me writing a story about it. But I did…

See?

Essentially, Chris Jarvis sings “imagine you’re a fluttering kite”, but it sounds far more like he says “imagine you’re a fluttering c*nt”.

CBeebies eventually came out and said that Jarvis sung “kite”. But they would, wouldn’t they?

Anyway, it’s only gone and happened again, since Grover from Sesame Street declared another puppet’s idea as “f*cking excellent”, according to some viewers…

What a foul-mouthed, albeit very enthusiastic, little blue man he is.

It’s that whole awful Laurel/Yanny thing all over again.

So does Grover say “Yes, yes, that sounds like an excellent idea!” or “Yes, yes, that’s a f*cking excellent idea!

My money’s on “sounds like” because, well, it’s a kids’ show, but I fully respect anyone’s decision to put everything they own on “f*cking”.

What a place the internet is. Never change…

Actually, change. Please.
