Love Dogs? Want to quit your job? This company has you covered. – an e-commerce website that sells personalised items for dogs, cats and their loving owners – has announced on its Facebook page that it’s hiring a Chief Puppy Officer.

The CPO will be paid £24,000 a year to play with dogs from 9-5.

No, you’re not dreaming.

The post reads: “The dream job really does exist!

“We’re sniffing out a Chief Puppy Officer (CPO) to ensure our fluffy family experience tummy-tickling, tail-wagging puppy love on tap from 9 -5.

“Do you have what it takes to ensure our Very Impawtant Pooches are entertained, happy and safe all day long?!

“From playing with our dogs to testing toys, tickling tummies and chaperoning at photoshoots, our appointed CPO will be dog-obsessed and dedicated to the ulti-mutt wellbeing of our office dogs.

“It’s a tough job but somebody has to do it!”

The job is based at the company’s Manchester office and the successful candidate will be required to entertain your co-workers’ four-legged friends while they work away at their desks.

The advert reads: “Here at, delivering tail-wagging happiness to all dogs is the reason we get out of bed in the morning, and ensuring the ulti-mutt happiness of our dog family who work beside us each day is equally as impawtant!”

As well as plenty of tummy tickling, the advert also states:  “the successful person will be required to carry out market research with each office dog, providing written feedback on a range of toys, bandanas, treats and accessories to help the team create even more furbulous products.”

Adding: “Our office dogs just love to be in the spotlight and the CPO will also be responsible for getting each one to photoshoots on time and chaperoning each of our pupstars, ensuring that they’re ready for their close-ups and always looking their best.”

The website is a one-stop-shop for all your dog and cat needs, selling everything from jigsaws to phone cases.
