Think you’re brave? Think again.

A TikTok clip has emerged showing a California teen rushing to the aid of her beloved pet dogs by shoving a bear off her garden wall to save their lives.

The footage was posted on Tuesday by the TikToker bakedlikepie and shows the bear and her cubs walking along the girl’s garden wall in Bradford, California before the girl’s dogs rush at the family to warn them off.

The bear’s cubs run away putting the mother bear into defence mode as it lashes out at the pack.

Then, Haily Morinico, 17, rushes to her dogs’ aide and shoves the fully-grown bear off the wall.

She said: “When I go over there to see what they’re barking at I’m like, “ok that’s a funny looking dog.”

“I go over to the bear and I look it in the eyes, and the first thing I think to do is push it push a bear, push an apex predator man.”

The bear was eyeing up her smallest mutt, Valentina before she launched herself at it.

“She’s the baby and as her slave I have to protect her,’ she remarked, adding that she suffered a sprained finger and scraped knee from the encounter.

“To be honest I don’t think I pushed her that hard, I just pushed her enough to lose her balance,’ the teen recalled.”

The action was caught on surveillance video before being posted to TikTok, where it racked up 52.2k likes and 2.2k comments in eight hours.

The teen’s mother, Citally Morinico commented on her daughter’s heroism on Facebook, saying her daughter “Just saved our dog with super human strength. For me one of the scariest moments in life.”

Haily’s cousin, Stephanie Lopez Villalobos told the Daily Mail: “She sent the video on our family group chat and I just knew people would think it was crazy so I posted it. We did not expect this much of a reaction though!

“She’s a crazy brave 17 year old!”

One TikToker said: “She’s a true hero automatically love her for her bravery she saw her kids in danger and ran no hesitation.”

Another said: “this is the kind of dog sitter I’ve been looking for.”

A third said: “woman run the world, and occasionally fight bears.”

While others felt sorry for the bear.

One said: “the bear was the victim.”

Another said: “that poor bear was just trying to protect his baby.”

Would you have done the same?
