In news that I imagine will excite Disney fans no end, the first trailer for Frozen 2 has arrived!

You already knew that because of the headline, though.

Frozen was a huge success both with critics and casual moviegoers as well as at the box office when it dropped in 2013, grossing over $1 billion.

The film follows two princesses from the fictional land of Arendelle, Anna and her older sister Elsa. There’s trouble in paradise though when Elsa accidentally forces Arendelle into an eternal winter with the magical powers she never fully learns to control, with Anna venturing after her fleeing sister in order to save both the kingdom and their relationship.

There was always going to be a sequel and now we’ve got our first glimpse of it. Check it out.

It’s just a teaser so there’s not much to dissect but I’ll give it a go anyway.

We’ve definitely returned to Arendelle, as we see Elsa practicing her ice powers on a stony beach.

She can then be seen using her powers to freeze the top of the sea and sprint across it, before climbing a huge wave and generally having a whale of a time.

But the ice breaks before she can climb to the top of it, and plunges her back into the sea.

Whatever’s going on the gang are in for an adventure, although if I had to guess it’s probably to do with the winter.

As I say, details remain scarce but old familiar faces are back including Kristoff, Sven the sleigh-pulling reindeer and  of course, Olaf.

Who could forget?

Disney’s Frozen 2 is set to hit cinemas in November 2019. I’ve got a feeling there’s going to be plenty of people hyped for this.
