The Rock really is one of the good guys.
I know he makes some questionable films sometimes, but heck, they’re good, clean fun and they make a ton of money.
Clearly, people love him.
The wrestler recently made headlines for buying his mum a house of her choosing, and now, once again, he’s proven what a total legend he is by surprising three young children on the set of his upcoming action epic Fast & Furious: Hobbs And Show.
Among the kids was 9-year-old PJ from Kildare, who is living with Ewing’s sarcoma (a rare disease in which cancer cells are found in the bone or in soft tissue).
The youngster requested a meet-up with his idol, ‘The Rock’, through the Make-A-Wish foundation and guess what, he showed up.
“I’m really excited to be here, my wish is coming true,” PJ told the crew as they waited for ‘The Rock’ to arrive.
Along with two other children, Cameron and Lucy, PJ was given the VIP treatment, with The Rock telling all those on set:
“These are the three kids I’ve been telling you guys about. We are lucky enough to play heroes, me and Jason Statham, but they are really like superheroes because they’re super, super strong, way stronger than we are.”
“We are on the set of Hobbs & Shaw and it’s a very special day,” ‘The Rock’ said as he arrived.
“We have some very special visitors on set and I’ve been waiting a very long time to meet them.”
‘The Rock’ showered the three children with gifts, including sweaters, hats, headphones, shirts – and even a batch of his “special signature chocolate cookies”.
And when PJ declared he “didn’t have an Xbox” for the year’s supply of video games, ‘The Rock’ returned with Xboxes for the three children.
“I got these made for you, I told them I was going to meet some really cool kids,” he said.
Just take a look at this:
He’s an actual real-life superhero, isn’t he?
