A “time traveller” who successfully predicted England’s Euro 2020 results has claimed that Italy will win the final.

Gareth Southgate’s side got through to the finals for the first time in 55 years after beating Denmark 2-1 on Wednesday.

And with confidence in the Three Lions at a record high, a petition for an extra Bank Holiday to celebrate the potential win has reached almost 300,00 signatures.

But just as England fans dared to dream, a self-declared time traveller has swooped into rain on their parade.

TikToker @nsh.official claims to be a time traveller, and if you look at their videos, they appear to have made a number of successful predictions.

Ahead of the England vs Ukraine quarter-final match, they posted a clip claiming that England would win 4-0 – which totally came true. And it was a score not many would predict.

Their most worrying video for England fans was posted on June 18 and is captioned: “Italy just beat England the Euro 2020 final.

“I’m a time traveller.”

Very few fans would have guessed Italy and England would make it to the final.

Italy didn’t even qualify for the 2018 World Cup and England hasn’t reached a final since 1966.

Many viewers are now completely freaked out by the predictions.

One person commented: “Okay, so I saw this at the start of the tournament, now I’m slightly scared.”

Another said: “Bro is really from the future.”

While a third added: “Bruh it’s kinda getting scary.”

However, before we all start giving up completely, it’s been claimed that the user has been deleting all of their predictions that didn’t come to light.

Here’s hoping they’ll be deleting this one on Sunday night.

Looking back at England’s journey to the final, the team’s historic semi-final win over Denmark was far from contentious.

There is mounting controversy over Harry Kane’s match-winning penalty goal.

Angry fans voiced their outrage at England player Raheem Sterling who they have accused of diving during his clash with Mathias Jenson in the 102nd minute, despite VAR proving otherwise.

The angry mob is adamant that Sterling was already on his way down, arguing that Jenson never made contact with the England star.

There was also a second ball on the pitch when Sterling was making his way into the penalty box, which should have stopped play, according to the laws of the game.

Danish boss Kasper Hjulmand said he was extremely unhappy with the decision.

He said: “We’re very, very disappointed, and it’s hard for me to talk about. Maybe it will easier for me to say how I feel in a few days.

“We’re just very disappointed that we were so close to the final.

“We’re disappointed it was decided that way… it was a penalty that shouldn’t have been a penalty, and that annoys me right now. We’re disappointed, we’re very disappointed.”

Meanwhile, England was charged by UEFA after Denmark’s goalkeeper had a laser shone in his face by fans during Harry Kane’s penalty kick.

The team has now been fined by football’s governing body UEFA after fans shone a laser pen in Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel’s eye moments before the winning kick.

The team face another two charges, one for England fans booing the Danish national anthem and another for the crowd setting off fireworks.

A statement from UEFA said: “The case will be dealt with by the Uefa Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) in due course.”
