Robin Williams committed suicide in mid 2014, leaving a hole in the lives of many. His comedy work and dramatic film performances provided much-needed escapism to people in hard times and genuine joy to millions more.

He left a gap in Hollywood that could seldom be filled, and is still missed by fans, friends and family alike.

Most recently, followers of the comedian and actor were treated to the candid HBO documentary, Come Inside My Mind, which delved deeply into the life and career of Williams, receiving critical acclaim from almost all who watched it.

But fans are being treated even more as according to the actor’s website, a colossal DVD box set is to be released, featuring some of his best loved work, including unseen footage.

As the website has it:

Robin Williams was the most lovable performer of our lifetime – hilarious, heartwarming, shocking, sweet, and truly genius. This epic collection includes over one hundred of Robin’s brilliant performances from across decades, across the country, and across the globe. Our beloved icon at his best.

The 22-DVD box set, titled Robin Williams: Comic Genius, includes over 50 hours of material and is set to drop in early November.

Amongst the included features, Comic Genius will include the Come inside my Mind documentary, Williams’ five HBO stand-up specials, previously unseen shows from the MGM Grand Garden and Montreal tour. Along with those, there will also be the actor’s Inside the Actor’s Studio interview, and further interviews from close friends, such as Billy Crystal, Steve Martin, Jay Leno, Eric Idle, David Steinberg, Lewis Black, and Zak Williams.
