A company is looking to pay one lucky Grey’s Anatomy fan $1,000 to binge-watch every single episode of the hit medical drama.

NiceRx is offering the cash to a die-hard fan of the show, and that could be you.

The company’s website reads: “With season 18 of the medical drama on the horizon, NiceRx are looking for one lucky Grey’s Anatomy superfan to binge watch all 369 episodes this summer.

“Not only will you get to relive the most iconic moments of the shows 16-year history, but you will also get $1,000 and an assortment of goodies for the pleasure.”

But there’s a catch.

It continues: “We are looking to see who out of Dr Meredith Grey and Dr Miranda Bailey have saved the most lives since the show first aired in 2005.

“We ask that the chosen fan keeps count over the course of 17 seasons to reveal which of these iconic doctors is the biggest lifesaver.

“So, if the thought of getting paid to spend a summer curled up on the sofa with the staff at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital sounds like a dream come true, apply now, and tell us why you fit the bill!”

Sounds awesome!

To enter, you must explain in 200 words why you think you’re the show’s biggest fan.

Not only will you be paid $1,000, but the winner will also receive a year’s subscription to Netflix, the full box set to watch, and a personalised video message from Dr Richard Webber himself.

The company is only accepting applicants from the US, and you must be 18 or over to apply.

The closing date is Monday, August 23, so don’t wait around.

Before you enter, though, make sure you’ve got plenty of spare time.

On average, an episode is 43 minutes long, meaning you’ll be spending 16,340 minutes sitting in front of the television.

Dr Meredith Grey is portrayed by Ellen Pompeo, who has played the character since the show premiered in 2005.

Dr Miranda Bailey is played by Chandra Wilson, who has also been on the show since its inception.

The ABC drama was created by Shonda Rhimes and centres around the professional and personal lives of surgical interns and their supervisors.

Throughout its time on air, the show has racked up 39 Emmy awards and nominations, including Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series in 2009 – which was won by Sandra Oh (Killing Eve) for her portrayal of Cristina Yang.
