Jennifer Coolidge Says She Slept With ‘200 People’ After Playing Stifler’s Mum In American Pie

American Pie has to be one of the most iconic movies of the ’90s. And there are a lot of reasons for this. The 1999 movie had a star studded cast, including Seann William Scott and Eddie Kaye Thomas – but one that stands out above the rest has to be Jennifer Coolidge.

Coolidge is experiencing a massive resurgence in her popularity after bringing to life Tanya on HBO’s The White Lotus. But for ’90s babies, she’ll always be Stifler’s Mom, and the origin of the word MILF. In the film, Coolidge has a fling with her son’s classmate, to much uproar from the rest of his friends.

Coolidge’s latest role in The White Lotus has earned her her very first Emmy nomination. But in a recent interview with Variety, Coolidge was asked to contrast her two standout roles…

She was asked whether she preferred being known as an Emmy nominee, or a MILF – and her response had the internet cracking up!

She described her nomination as an “honour,” adding: “Maybe I got this special attention because people saw me as Stifler’s mom or the Legally Blonde woman. So if they see something else…”

But Coolidge also claimed there have been certain “benefits” to playing Stifler’s mom, too.

“I got a lot of play at being a MILF and I got a lot of s*xual action from American Pie,” the sixty-year-old actress said. “There were so many benefits to doing that movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with.”

And it seems as though Coolidge is not short of offers!

“All these years later is she’s still very beautiful and looks better than a lot of women more than half her age! One of my biggest TV crushes!” one fan commented.

“She’s the best MILF I ever had and I wasn’t the pool guy but the delivery guy!” joked another.

A third laughed: “Could have been 201 if she had called me back!”

However, it seems as though Coolidge’s love life hasn’t always been so fun and carefree. In the same interview, she talks about how she relates to Tanya, and it seems the 2 have faced some similar romantic struggles.

“My weakness in life has always been men, and — a lot of women do this — you sell out for a guy. A lot of my life was chasing unattainable men, and it got me nowhere.
