Lisa Marie Presley’s Autopsy Has Been Completed

Lisa Marie Presley sadly passed away on Thursday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest, and now her autopsy has been completed.

Lisa Marie was the only daughter of iconic singer Elvis Presley and actress Priscilla Presley. She was born on February 1, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee, and has become an international star in her own right. The shared legacy between her parents has created a unique bond between Lisa Marie and her fans around the world.

Her debut album, To Whom It May Concern was a smashing success. Released in 2003, the record raced up to the fifth spot on the Billboard charts and earned her a gold certification. The album featured an eclectic mix of genres including R&B, pop, hip-hop, and soul.

Her music career, fashion sense, activism, and philanthropy have made Lisa Marie a beloved figure in pop culture, making the news of her passing even more devastating.

According to TMZ, Lisa was taken to the hospital after her housekeeper noticed that she was not responding. On seeing this, her former husband Danny Keogh quickly stepped in to give CPR until paramedics arrived and started their procedure. They also allegedly injected epinephrine once during the attempt of reviving her.

Paramedics managed to find her pulse before she reached the hospital, but sadly, her condition worsened and she didn’t make it.

It has been reported that Lisa had complained of stomach pains hours before going into cardiac arrest.

And after being rushed to the hospital, where she was sadly pronounced brain dead, she later suffered a second cardiac arrest, resulting in her tragic death.

A representative told TMZ: “Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love, and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

According to the same outlet, her autopsy has since been completed at the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office, but details won’t be shared until her toxicology report comes back, revealing the official cause of death.

The toxicology report will give a better understanding of anything that might have been in her system when she died.

Our thoughts go out to her family and friends during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Lisa Marie Presley.
