WWE legend Mark Calaway, who is best known by his ring name The Undertaker, saved his wife from being approached by a shark in a new video.
His wife, Michelle McCool, shared a selection of clips on her Instagram, and fans are in awe at the footage of the wrestler protecting her from the underwater creature.
“I was simply enjoying a book on the beach when this ‘vegetation’ looked a lot like a shark…..so I text hubby @undertaker,” she captioned the carousel of posts.
“Kinda digging that last picture …A LOT.”
Over 2 videos, McCool explains the situation. The pair can be seen standing in knee-deep crystal clear water, McCool in a floppy hat and black bikini, and The Undertaker in a black T-shirt and shorts.
In the first clip, McCool explains: “OK, I text my husband because… this guy right here. I just knew it was a shark. Look how close we are.”
Then, in the second snippet, she says while retreating to safer waters: “Yep. OK. Guess I wasn’t big enough to scare him away but you are.”
The Undertaker can be seen with his hands on his hips, as the shark begins to move away from the pair.
Per UNILAD, the shark in the clip is believed to be a nurse shark. This species aren’t actually supposed to be harmful to humans, but it’s nice to know that even they know to stay well away from The Undertaker.
Fans have taken to the comments section of the post to react to the shocking footage.
One person wrote: “The shark didn’t want to go one on one with The Undertaker!!”
A second joked: “Meanwhile back in shark house…. So guys, guess who I saw today.”
A third wrote: “I think you forgot your husband is THE Undertaker lol. That shark wanted no smoke.”
A fourth commented: “That shark knows not to mess with the Deadman.”
