Pamela Anderson Has A Heartbreaking Reason For Going Makeup-Free At Paris Fashion Week

Pamela Anderson has been praised for going bare-faced to Paris Fashion Week, but fans have been left shocked after the Baywatch star explained the tragic reason why she has gone makeup-free.

Now, Pamela Anderson is one of the biggest names of the last century. The Canada native first rose to prominence after appearing in Playboy, and she went on to become the individual with the most covers for the magazine.

Her status as an icon was cemented when she landed the role of “C.J.” Parker on Baywatch, where her red swimsuit and smokey eye look became a staple of nineties iconography.

Following on from this, the actress starred in a variety of things, from the series Stacked to films such as Scary Movie 3 and Borat.

She has also participated in a host of reality and entertainment shows, including Dancing On Ice and Dancing With The Stars.

However, earlier this year, fans were in for a treat as Anderson teamed up with Netflix for Pamela, a Love Story, a documentary that covered her life from her childhood through to her turbulent marriage to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee.

In the documentary, Anderson is often seen without makeup on, and in August the star opened up to Elle about the heartbreaking reason why she has ditched the cosmetics.

She revealed that she had lost her close friend and makeup artist Alexis Vogel back in 2019 after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Since then, Anderson has moved away from wearing makeup.

“She was the best,” Anderson said. “And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup.”

In the same interview, Anderson also shared her thoughts on getting older.

“I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older,” she said.

“And I’m kind of laughing at myself when I look at the mirror. I go, ‘Wow, this is really…what’s happening to me?’ It’s a journey.”
