Fans have been left baffled after learning of a bizarre theory that Eminem died seventeen years ago and was replaced by an ‘android clone’.

The theory has recently resurfaced as the rapper celebrated his fifty-first birthday earlier this week.

Now, Eminem, the Detroit-born lyrical maestro, has captivated the world since he first burst onto the scene with his explosive rhymes and raw storytelling.

Real name Marshall Mathers, Eminem came onto the scene in the late nineties, quickly ascending to become one of the most influential and controversial figures in hip-hop. With hits like ‘Lose Yourself’ and ‘Stan’, he’s amassed a colossal fortune and a devoted global fan base.

But there’s more to this rap legend than meets the eye. In recent years, Eminem’s transitioned into a devoted family man, raising 3 children.

He’s struck a balance between his on-stage ferocity and his off-stage role as a loving father, showcasing a different dimension of his multi-faceted persona. Eminem’s legacy continues to evolve, cementing his status as a rap icon and family figurehead.

However, in the depths of the internet, people believe that all is not as it seems when it comes to Eminem.

There is a popular conspiracy theory that claims the rapper actually died back in 2006, meaning that the Eminem we know today is actually a clone.

Spanish website La Guía Del Varón claims that the star actually died in a car accident back in the noughties, and was replaced by an ‘android clone’.

Fans who believe in this theory place use what they claim has been changes to his voice and appearance to justify their theory. In particular, they say that Eminem’s jaw structure and overall face shape has been altered, per the Daily Star.

“Yeah I believe he is a clone, it doesn’t even look like him anymore and his eyes are dead,” one person wrote in response to the theory’s re-emergence.

“He already warned for this in the song ‘The Real Slim Shady’,” a second put.

However, not everyone believes the theory. Those who don’t can still appreciate the reasoning behind it, though.

“I don’t believe it but it’s funny to think about. Not many artists have gone through such drastic appearance changes like Eminem,” one person wrote.

“If you watch enough video of Marshall from ’98-’05 and video of him ’09-’23, it’s very clearly the same dude, same mannerisms and speech patterns. Although it is a fun theory! I would say if he was cloned it happened around ’99(again this is in theory) and that would explain the vocal change from SSLP to MMLP,” a second said.
