Amazon has officially announced the return date for The Boys on Prime Video, much to the excitement of its dedicated fanbase.

The series, known for its blend of action and satire, has garnered a strong following with memorable characters like Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and Homelander (Antony Starr) wreaking havoc in New York City.

Fans have eagerly awaited news about the fourth season, and the wait is almost over. Amazon revealed that the fourth installment is scheduled for release on June 13, 2024.

In a press release issued on February 22, the streaming platform stated, “Today, Prime Video announced that the Emmy-winning global hit drama series The Boys, will premiere its fourth season on 13th June 2024.”

The season will kick off with three episodes on June 13, followed by weekly releases, culminating in the season finale on Thursday, July 18. The eight-episode season will be available exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Describing the upcoming season, Prime Video hinted at heightened tension, with the world “on the brink” as Victoria Neuman edges closer to the Oval Office while being under the control of Homelander. Meanwhile, Billy Butcher faces his mortality after using a superpower-inducing drug and has lost his leadership of The Boys due to his deceit. As the stakes escalate, the characters must band together to save the world.

The release of the season four trailer in December sparked excitement among fans, with many taking to social media to express their anticipation for the new episodes.

While fans await the upcoming season of The Boys, the spin-off show Gen V is not expected to return until next year. Despite this, the series has already earned acclaim, with a renewal for a second season announced in October. Gen V boasts impressive ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, with a 97 percent Tomatometer score and a 77 percent audience score.

Speculation surrounds the return of cast members such as Jaz Sinclair, Lizzie Broadway, and Derek Luh for the second season of Gen V, adding to the anticipation for the show’s return.
