Love Island’s Marcel ‘living a nightmare’ and leaves family home after wife’s alleged ‘cheating’

Love Island’s Marcel Somerville is reportedly facing immense devastation and has opted to move out of his family home following allegations of infidelity by his wife, Rebecca Vieira.

The 38-year-old reality TV star is said to be enduring what feels like a “nightmare” after discovering that Rebecca, with whom he shares a three-year-old child named Roman, allegedly exchanged secret messages with US artist Slim Jxmmi. Close friends of Marcel describe him as “completely broken” by this betrayal.

Marcel and Rebecca exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony abroad in 2022. However, recent social media posts involving Rebecca and Slim Jxmmi have stirred controversy. Kiara Danielson, the mother of Slim’s child, publicly accused Rebecca of cheating on Marcel by sharing private messages with the hip-hop artist.

A source close to Marcel revealed to the Mirror: “Marcel is absolutely devastated. Rebecca was his life, and he’d changed so many things about his lifestyle to make her happy.” The source continued, “For him to know that Rebecca was telling another man she loves him, and then spent Valentine’s Day with him has completely broken him.”

In response to the online allegations, KD, Slim Jxmmi’s ex-partner, posted messages on her social media platforms, indirectly addressing Rebecca’s alleged involvement. She highlighted supposed flirtatious exchanges between Rebecca and Slim, including allegations of Rebecca sending nude photos to the hip-hop artist.

Rebecca, in turn, shared blurred screenshots of her text conversation with Slim, emphasizing their authenticity. She defended the messages, stating that “no one can say these messages are fake.” Despite Rebecca’s defense, the situation has left Marcel grappling with heartbreak and uncertainty, prompting him to seek refuge with friends away from the family home.
