Love Island’s Tom and Molly Finally go official with romantic bedroom proposal

Love Island’s Molly Smith and Tom Clare have officially taken their relationship to the next level with a romantic proposal orchestrated by Tom himself.

After winning Love Island All Stars together in South Africa, the semi-pro footballer surprised Molly with a heartfelt gesture to mark the beginning of their official relationship. The couple had previously kept quiet about their relationship status, but Tom’s thoughtful gesture made it clear that they were ready to make things official.

Tom went above and beyond to create a memorable moment for Molly, covering a bed with rose petals spelling out the question: “Will you be my girlfriend?” A pathway of rose petals led to the bed, adorned with heart-shaped helium balloons, setting the scene for a romantic declaration of love.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Molly shared her joy on social media, expressing disbelief at Tom’s gesture, saying, “Can’t believe Tom done this for me ahhh [love heart eyes emoji].”

The couple had already hinted at their blossoming romance with their first loved-up Instagram snapshot, capturing a tender moment between them. Captioned “Start of something new,” the photo signaled their commitment to each other.

Prior to this declaration, fans speculated about the authenticity of their relationship, noting Tom’s decision to unfollow several individuals on Instagram after the series finale. This move was interpreted as a sign of Tom prioritizing his relationship with Molly over any previous connections.

However, amidst their joyous moment, Tom didn’t shy away from addressing past conflicts with fellow Islander Georgia Steel. Georgia had previously expressed interest in Tom and recounted a romantic encounter where he drove to York with just her phone number. Tom clarified that the interaction wasn’t as romantic as Georgia portrayed, emphasizing that they spent only “two days” together.

During a podcast interview, Molly recounted a sly comment made by Georgia after the Heart Rate Challenge, insinuating Tom’s familiarity with physical intimacy. Tom, candidly addressing the situation, named Georgia as the “snakiest” Islander when prompted, reflecting on their past interactions in the villa.
