Celebrity Big Brother in ‘Fix’ Row after Louis Walsh Nomination Twist

Celebrity Big Brother fans are accusing the show of manipulating the narrative to ensure Louis Walsh secures a spot in the final.

During Monday night’s St. Patrick’s Day-themed episode, This Morning’s Fern Britton was given the chance to nominate one housemate for eviction, and she decisively chose Louis Walsh. However, in a dramatic twist orchestrated by Big Brother, Walsh was granted immunity from eviction, virtually guaranteeing him a place in the final.

Viewers took to social media to express skepticism over the development, claiming it was a ploy to ensure Walsh’s place in the final. Walsh has faced eviction nominations multiple times from his fellow housemates, and Britton’s vote seemed like the opportunity to finally oust him from the house.

“I’ve never seen a bigger fix than this twist specifically to get Louis Walsh to the final,” one viewer tweeted. “They knew they’d all pick Louis & knew Louis is too lazy to go to the diary room.”

“What was the point of Fern finding the pot of gold, nominating Louis, then [Big Brother] giving him a lifeline?” questioned another.

“They knew damn well that any one of those housemates would have evicted Louis,” remarked another viewer.

“Guaranteed they just invented that twist, cos they didn’t want to lose Louis. I mean, I’m not complaining… it would be soooo boring without him, but come on!” added another.

In scenes aired last week, Walsh faced criticism for making remarks about Britton’s age during the formation of a girl group for a fictional talent show. Despite Osbourne’s defense of Britton’s potential as a star, Walsh remained skeptical, prompting frustration from Osbourne and viewers alike.

Monday night’s nominations have put all three remaining women in the Big Brother house at risk of eviction, while reality star David Potts and Coronation Street actor Colson Smith emerged unscathed from the nominations.
