Celebrity Big Brother star Bradley reveals what happened off camera after being brutally evicted

The anticipated Celebrity Big Brother finale is upon us (cue tears), and if last night’s penultimate episode is any indication, we’re in for a dramatic conclusion.

In a surprising turn of events on Thursday evening (March 21), presenter AJ Odudu made an unexpected appearance, leading to the eviction of one of the show’s fan favourites in a moment viewers have deemed both ‘brutal’ and ‘cruel’.

Today, Bradley Riches, the beloved actor from Netflix’s LGBTQ+ hit Heartstopper, sheds light on the events of that fateful night and why he found himself without fans, friends, or family waiting for him on the outside.

Over the past few weeks, audiences have been treated to a rollercoaster of emotions as fresh batches of famous faces formed unexpected friendships, clashed in heated confrontations, gave memorable interviews, and made bombshell revelations.

All the drama of the past month culminates tonight when host AJ and co-host Will Best reveal this year’s Celebrity Big Brother champion. However, sadly out of the running is 22-year-old TV star Bradley, who faced elimination during last night’s heart-wrenching episode.

Viewers watched as Bradley patiently awaited a visit from a family member in the house garden, only to be met by AJ emerging somewhat comically from the bushes to deliver the news that he was the seventh housemate to be evicted from the show.

“I’ve had so much fun. I feel fine. I didn’t think I was going to make it this far. I love everyone in there and I’m so proud of everyone. I’m very thankful, very grateful, and very happy,” Bradley graciously responded to the news before bidding farewell to his co-stars and exiting through an internal door.

In his post-eviction interview with Good Morning Britain presenters Kate Garraway, Adil Ray, and Richard Arnold, Bradley revealed some unconventional behind-the-scenes procedures, including being kept in isolation without contact with friends or family until his final scenes aired on the show.

The manner of Bradley’s eviction drew criticism from viewers, with many slamming producers for what they deemed a ‘cruel’ removal from the house.

“One of the main reasons I’d go on Big Brother is to experience a proper eviction if I had to leave like Bradley just did I’d be fuming; Bradley’s eviction was cruel. Period,” expressed one social media user, while another lamented, “No getting Bradley all excited about Scott and his dog coming in and evicting him is honestly horrible… bless him; I can’t even watch this omg not them getting Bradley excited STOPP.”
