Celebrity chef James Martin is reportedly moving on from his 12-year relationship with Louise Davies and has been spotted with personal trainer Kim Johnson. Martin, 51, and Louise began their romance in 2011 and shared a home in Hampshire before their recent split. Despite parting ways, the former couple is said to have maintained a friendship.
Martin has wasted no time in finding companionship again and has been seen with Kim, who was previously married to businessman Arun Nayar, known as Elizabeth Hurley’s ex-husband. Kim and Arun’s relationship started in 2011 following his separation from Elizabeth. They exchanged vows in 2016 but parted ways a year later.
Recent photos obtained by MailOnline capture Martin and Kim enjoying a leisurely outing in London. Martin sported a relaxed ensemble featuring a light blue shirt, black gilet, classic blue jeans, and a grey baseball cap, while Kim showcased her style in a leather miniskirt paired with black tights, a navy jumper adorned with a large red star, a blue jacket, and black boots.
Despite their lengthy relationship, Martin and Louise never married. Martin explained his disinterest in marriage back in 2019, citing his extensive experience catering weddings as a factor. He expressed contentment with his decision, stating, “I admire people who do it, that’s fine, but I’m quite happy. I don’t need to spend 60 grand on a day, no, I’m more than happy thanks.”
The couple also opted not to have children, with Martin attributing this choice to his intense focus on his career. Reflecting on his career sacrifices, Martin disclosed in a 2020 interview, “The biggest low of my career is that I’ve given up everything for it.” Despite observing his friends settle down with families, Martin maintains that he has no regrets, asserting, “But would I do the same thing again? Probably, because it’s made me who I am.”
Before his relationship with Louise, Martin had a romance with James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli, lasting four and a half years after she “won” him at a celebrity auction in 2001 by bidding £18,000 for him to cook at her dinner party.
