Ariana Madix is expanding her reality TV portfolio by joining “Love Island USA” as its new host, following Sarah Hyland’s departure from the franchise.

Sources familiar with the matter informed shared that the “Vanderpump Rules” star is slated to take on hosting duties for the upcoming season of “Love Island USA,” stepping into the role previously held by Sarah during Seasons 4 and 5. Sarah’s decision to leave the show reportedly stemmed from another job opportunity she wanted to pursue, which coincided with the filming schedule of “LIUSA.”

While an official announcement is yet to be made, sources indicate that the deal is nearing completion and is expected to be finalized soon. Although cameras haven’t started rolling, plans are in motion for Ariana to take over as the new host.

Although it’s uncertain if Sarah will return as host in the future, there are currently no indications of her comeback.

While Sarah’s departure may disappoint her fans, Ariana’s involvement in “Love Island” is a dream come true for her, given her status as a dedicated fan of the reality show. Notably, Ariana made a cameo appearance on the previous season of “Love Island.”

Ariana’s new hosting gig adds to her growing list of accomplishments post-“Vanderpump Rules,” including a stint on “Dancing with the Stars” and a role in the Broadway production of “Chicago.” Joining “Love Island” marks her latest venture into the reality TV realm.

Before Sarah took over hosting duties for “Love Island USA,” Arielle Vandenberg was the face of the franchise for three seasons. However, the show underwent a major rebranding, leading to Sarah’s appointment as the new host.

“Love Island USA” also transitioned from airing on CBS to Peacock, where it currently resides. With Ariana now set to take the reins, fans can anticipate an exciting new chapter for the show. While attempts to reach out to Ariana and Sarah’s representatives have been made, there has been no response thus far.
