Love Island alum Eve Gale has found herself back in the dating game after her stint on the recent All Stars series of the show, revealing that she’s been on a string of dates with former TOWIE star Demi Sims.

Eve, 24, who returned to the Love Island villa alongside her sister Jess, initially coupled up with Casey O’Gorman before being dumped from the island. However, it seems her romantic prospects have taken a positive turn since returning to the UK.

Opening up about her budding romance with Demi, Eve shared details on Demi’s podcast Sims Squared, hosted by Demi and her sister Frankie. During the podcast, Demi announced their recent date, stating, “Me and Eve went on a date last week for anyone watching and it was our first date, wasn’t it?” Eve added, “We kind of had other dates, but it’s not been a date date. That was like our first date. I had the best time.”

The pair revealed that they’ve been “talking” for approximately three years after initially meeting at a Boohoo event in London. Recounting the recent date, Demi admitted to feeling nervous about potential awkwardness but was pleasantly surprised by their seamless conversation.

Demi, who previously dated Love Islander Megan Barton-Hanson, has been open about her journey of self-acceptance and reluctance to label her sexuality definitively. Last year, she spoke to OK! about her hesitation, stating, “I don’t know if I’ll ever have another boyfriend and I’m coming to terms with that now, but I’m still not ready to say I’m fully gay yet.”

Acknowledging the pressure to label herself, Demi explained, “I’ve just got to make sure I’m 100% ready before I say something because as soon as you label yourself, people like to keep you in that box.” Despite external expectations, Demi is taking her time to fully embrace her identity.
