Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons’ 21-year-old daughter is currently dating a 65-year-old man and enjoying a vacation with him in St. Barts. However, it seems Russell isn’t bothered by the age gap.

In an interview with TMZ, the Def Jam co-founder mentioned that he had spoken with his daughter, Aoki, a day before news of her relationship with Vittorio Assaf, the founder of Serafina Restaurant Group, surfaced through photos of their vacation filled with public displays of affection.

Russell stated, “I’m not gonna kick and scream about her choices. All I can do is offer my advice and unconditional love.” This sentiment was echoed in an Instagram post over Father’s Day last year, where Russell shared a photo of himself and Aoki, accompanied by a loving caption.

While some may find the significant age difference inappropriate, Aoki appears unfazed by the backlash. Despite social media criticism, she seems to be tuning out the noise and continuing to enjoy her relationship.

It’s unclear how exactly Aoki and Assaf met, but speculation suggests it may have been on the island during their vacation. Assaf’s success as the founder of Serafina Restaurant Group, which includes numerous Italian eateries in NYC and beyond, indicates his wealth.
