OJ Simpson Posted Chilling Final Video Before His Death

O.J. Simpson, the former NFL star whose life was marked by fame, controversy, and a highly publicized murder trial, shared a poignant video about his health just two months before his passing at the age of 76.

Known as “The Juice,” Simpson faced accusations of brutally murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, in a case that captivated the nation. Despite being acquitted, the shadow of the trial loomed large over his legacy.

According to a statement released by his family on X, Simpson passed away on April 11 after battling cancer. “He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace,” the statement read.

Just prior to his death, Simpson reassured fans about his health in a nearly two-minute video posted before the Super Bowl. Filmed by a pool, he expressed gratitude to those who reached out to him, saying, “My health is good. Obviously, I’m dealing with some issues, but I think I’m just about over it, and I’ll be back on that golf course hopefully in a couple of weeks.”

In another video shared earlier, Simpson dismissed rumors of entering hospice care in February. “Hey X world, hospice? Hospice? You talking about hospice,” he said, dispelling the misinformation. “No, I’m not in any hospice. I don’t know who put that out there.”

Simpson’s life trajectory was notable. From winning the Heisman Trophy at USC to a successful football career with the San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills, he achieved fame and fortune. However, his life took a dramatic turn in 1994 when the murders of his ex-wife and her friend led to a trial that captivated the nation. Despite his acquittal, the case left an indelible mark on his reputation.

Survived by his four children – Arnelle, Jason, Sydney, and Justin – Simpson’s legacy remains complex, reflecting the highs and lows of a life lived under the glare of public scrutiny.
