ITV Celebrity Big Brother star’s daughter ‘in talks’ for Love Island appearance

It seems that Lauren Simon’s daughter, Gigi, is poised to step into the reality TV spotlight, following in her mother’s footsteps.

Reports suggest that the 19-year-old social media influencer is in discussions to join the upcoming summer series of Love Island. With her mother appearing on The Real Housewives of Cheshire and recently making waves on Celebrity Big Brother, it seems Gigi is ready to make her own mark on the small screen.

While the official lineup for Love Island is yet to be confirmed, sources reveal that Gigi is eager to join the show, with her own aspirations separate from her mother’s connections in the industry.

Lauren shares Gigi and her sister Kika with her ex-husband Paul Simon. Before Lauren entered the Celebrity Big Brother house, Gigi had some lighthearted advice for her mother, playfully reminding her to refrain from discussing certain topics.

During Lauren’s entrance on the show, Gigi could be seen enthusiastically cheering her on from the audience, albeit with a humorous reminder not to delve into certain subjects. Despite Gigi’s playful warning, Lauren’s on-screen persona is known for her bold and unfiltered commentary, including her candid remarks about her personal life and preferences.

Lauren has been a fan favourite on The Real Housewives of Cheshire since joining the cast in 2014. Her colourful personality and entertaining anecdotes, such as her encounter with Simon Cowell, have endeared her to viewers.

In a recent revelation, Lauren recounted an encounter with Simon Cowell, claiming he expressed interest in making her a star after spotting her dancing on tables. However, Gigi jokingly pointed out that her mother’s version of events may have been embellished, hinting at a more grounded reality.

As speculation swirls about Gigi’s potential reality TV debut, ITV has declined to comment on the matter, while Lauren’s representative has yet to respond to inquiries.
