Joe Swanson Voice Actor Refuses To Apologise For Humour In Family Guy

Patrick Warburton, the voice behind Joe Swanson in Family Guy, has made it clear that he won’t be apologizing for the show’s humor and controversial jokes. Across its 22 seasons and 418 episodes, Family Guy has become synonymous with its boundary-pushing humor and numerous controversies, yet it remains one of the most influential TV series of all time.

Created by Seth MacFarlane, Family Guy shows no signs of slowing down, meaning Warburton will continue voicing the beloved character of Joe Swanson for the foreseeable future. Despite the show’s polarizing nature, Warburton is done apologizing for its content.

In an interview with Fox News, Warburton expressed his views on the matter, stating, “I used to apologize for being on Family Guy, and I apologize no more because this world is a horrible native satire.” He believes that people take themselves too seriously and that humor, love, and acceptance are essential components of life.

However, not everyone is a fan of Family Guy, including Warburton’s own mother, Barbara Warburton. In 2011, she criticized the show, suggesting that it contributes to the decline of morality in society. Despite her disapproval, Warburton has continued his role on the show, highlighting the differing opinions even within his own family circle.
