Former adult film star Lana Rhoades has disclosed her desire for all her previous scenes to be removed from circulation.

The 27-year-old, hailing from Chicago, USA, embarked on her adult film career in 2016 but opted to leave the industry shortly thereafter. Despite gaining immense popularity and becoming the most searched actress in 2019, Rhoades has been candid about the toll the job took on her mental health.

In a 2021 interview on Harry Jowsey’s ‘Tap In’ podcast, she expressed her wish to erase all her videos, stating, “A lot of the videos I have no rights under, otherwise I probably would have deleted them all by now.”

Reflecting on her regrets, she admitted, “I honestly tell people, if I could go back, I would give up everything to have my dignity and respect back, and for people not to be able to see me in that way.”

Earlier the same year, Rhoades criticised the industry and recounted her harrowing experiences filming adult scenes. She disclosed one particularly distressing incident that still haunts her, describing it as “one of the most disgusting, foul scenes” she had ever endured.

Despite the financial hardships she faced while in the industry, Rhoades has found success post-retirement. Speaking on the YouTube channel BFFs with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, she revealed her transformation into a multi-millionaire since leaving the adult film industry behind. Rhoades now co-hosts a podcast titled 3 Girls 1 Kitchen.
