“I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here” star Josie Gibson has addressed rumours surrounding her relationship with Stephen Mulhern following images capturing them holding hands.

TV personalities Mulhern and Gibson sparked speculation after they were spotted appearing close outside ITV’s London television studio. The occasion was the filming of the final episode of “Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway,” with the pair photographed walking hand in hand on Saturday, April 13.

Gibson clarified the situation, emphasising that while she holds affection for Mulhern, their relationship is purely platonic.

Regarding the photo, Gibson shared, “Stephen? Oh, he’s so lovely. We are really good friends, I really adore him, but there’s no romance in the air.”

Addressing the media’s tendency to speculate about her romantic life, Gibson remarked, “But he’s so nice. Every bloke that I come in contact with, the press seems to think that I’m having it off with them. People must think I’m a right goer. I’m not like that.”

As a single mother, Gibson explained that forming a romantic connection requires a deeper bond beyond physical gestures. She expressed, “To be with somebody or to even kiss somebody, I’ve really got to love them. I’ve really got to really be into them.”

Reflecting on the rarity of finding a profound connection, Gibson shared, “For me it only comes around like once every seven years or eight years. I love the love because those are very, very special [moments] when you find them.”

Gibson also spoke about her fulfillment as a mother to her five-year-old son Reggie, stating, “To be honest, since I’ve had him, I don’t suffer from that loneliness.”

Discussing her involvement in a campaign with Yoplait aimed at addressing a dairy deficit in children’s diets, Gibson highlighted the importance of encouraging healthier food choices for kids, particularly in regard to yogurt consumption for essential nutrients like vitamin D and calcium.
