O.J Simpson Cause of Death Revealed

O.J. Simpson’s cause of death has been officially disclosed, revealing that the infamous former football superstar and actor passed away from prostate cancer, as confirmed by his longtime attorney and estate executor, Malcolm LaVergne.

According to LaVergne, Simpson succumbed to cancer at the age of 76 on April 10, after spending several months under hospice care.

The revelation comes after Simpson publicly disclosed his battle with cancer in May 2023, although he did not specify the exact form. Despite initially suggesting that he had overcome the disease, Simpson’s health visibly deteriorated in his final public appearances, with him even requiring a cane to walk as of January 2024.

Renowned for his presence on social media, where he shared insights on pop culture and sports, Simpson’s last video was posted on X hours before the Super Bowl on February 11.

In the days leading up to his passing, Simpson was discharged from hospice and returned home, where he spent his final moments surrounded by loved ones.

Simpson’s death elicited varied reactions, with some in the football community paying tribute to his athletic achievements, while others remembered him as a controversial figure, particularly in light of his acquittal on double murder charges in 1995.
