Real Reason King Charles Wants To Reconcile With Harry But Not Meghan

Prince Harry is gearing up for his return to the UK for the Invictus Games in less than a fortnight, with King Charles reportedly keeping the possibility of an in-person meeting with his son on the table, hinting at a potential reconciliation.

While Harry plans his journey home, Meghan is expected to remain in Montecito, California, with their children, Archie and Lilibet, meaning she may not accompany Harry for the event. This circumstance could influence whether Meghan would be included in any in-person meetings with Charles, as her presence might overshadow the focus of the service, according to royal insiders.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams shared insights with The Sun, highlighting the complex dynamics at play. He noted that while Charles may be open to meeting with Harry, a warm reception isn’t guaranteed, suggesting that rebuilding trust is paramount before considering involving Meghan in any discussions.

Fitzwilliams remarked, “The King has always kept the door open to Harry, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that he would invariably get a warm reception.” He emphasized the need for time and trust-building, indicating that any potential reconciliation process would be gradual.

Addressing Meghan’s involvement, Fitzwilliams expressed skepticism, branding her as “toxic” and stressing the necessity of repairing trust before contemplating her participation in royal matters.

He stated, “Meghan is toxic. I’m not saying the Sussexes would launch any attacks to the Royal Family at this sort of time. But what is very, very clear is that if they want to build trust, they have a long way to go.”

Regarding Harry’s perspective on meeting his father, Fitzwilliams suggested a willingness on Harry’s part to engage, emphasizing the logistical considerations around security for the family during any potential meetings.

He concluded, “So far as Harry is concerned, yes, undoubtedly I would have thought he would want to see his father. We know security regarding Harry and Meghan and the children would be dealt with on a case by case basis, I would find it extraordinary if they wanted to see the King that there would be a problem.”

As the countdown to Harry’s UK visit continues, speculation persists about the potential for family reconciliation amidst shifting dynamics within the royal household.
