Stormy Daniels Warned By Judge To Tone It Down After Sharing Graphic Details Of Donald Trump

Stormy Daniels, the adult film star, provided a detailed account of her alleged 2006 affair with former President Donald Trump, captivating the courtroom with her testimony.

During her testimony on Tuesday (May 6), delivered under her legal name, Stephanie Clifford, Daniels recounted a moment when she playfully spanked Trump with a rolled-up magazine featuring his face on the cover. Her vivid narrative left jurors “smirking”, according to the New York Post.

As Daniels continued her testimony, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan intervened, reprimanding Trump for his audible expressions of displeasure. “You need to speak to him. I won’t tolerate that,” Merchan warned Trump’s lawyer, stressing the need for decorum in the courtroom.

Despite objections from Trump’s legal team, Daniels persisted in providing details of her alleged encounter with the former president, including her revelation that they engaged in a s*xual encounter in 2006 without Trump wearing a condom.

During cross-examination, Trump’s attorney Susan Necheles questioned Daniels’ motives, suggesting financial gain as her primary motivation. Daniels refuted this, stating, “My motivation wasn’t money. It was to get the story out.”

Trump’s legal team sought a mistrial due to Daniels’ vivid testimony, arguing that it could prejudice the jury against Trump. Although Judge Merchan denied the request, he acknowledged the challenges in controlling the witness.

As the trial progresses, the tension in the courtroom remains palpable, with Daniels expected to return on Thursday (May 9). Trump faces charges related to an alleged payoff to Daniels orchestrated by his former attorney, Michael Cohen, to purportedly conceal the affair ahead of the 2016 presidential election. Despite the legal proceedings, Trump maintains his innocence, asserting that the case against him is “falling apart”.
