Jennifer Lopez turned heads by going braless in a daring ruffle robe amid rumours of marital issues with her A-list husband, Ben Affleck.
The 54-year-old superstar captured all attention at the Mexico City premiere of her Netflix film, Atlas, on Tuesday. She stunned the crowd, wearing a sexy white outfit with a very low-cut neckline.
Accompanying her at the event were co-stars Simu Liu and Sterling K. Brown. Meanwhile, her husband Ben was seen sporting his wedding ring during a “boys night” outing in Los Angeles that same evening.
Lopez shared a series of sultry photos on Instagram, showing her topless under a sheer, ruffled white robe. These pictures were taken during her stay in Mexico City, where she’s promoting Atlas.
In the hotel shots, Lopez posed on a plush couch with her toned legs crossed, seductively gazing at the camera with her chest exposed. The Hustlers actress paired her luxurious robe with tall, beige platform heels. Despite looking fresh out of the shower, she accessorised with sparkly diamond earrings and sultry brown eyeshadow, finishing her makeup with luminous rosy blush and a glossy pink lip. Her honey-toned hair was styled in an effortless updo, with wavy strands framing her face.
Lopez also included a brief clip in her Instagram post, showing her lounging on the couch, fiddling with her hair before staring off into the distance. “Viva Mexico! @NetflixLat @Netflix #Atlas in 3 Days,” she captioned the post for her 252 million followers. The jaw-dropping slideshow was re-shared by the official Netflix Latinoamérica Instagram page.
The previous day, Lopez attended the star-studded Atlas premiere in Los Angeles without Ben, 51, which further fuelled concerns about their relationship. However, it was revealed that Affleck couldn’t attend because he was busy working on the sequel to his film The Accountant.
During her red carpet appearance, Lopez shared some rare insights into her personal life with Entertainment Tonight. “The one thing you can always trust in is family,” she said.
Her comments might surprise some as rumours of turmoil in her marriage with Affleck continue to mount. On Monday, Page Six reported that Affleck is unhappy with the marriage and ready to divorce Lopez after less than two years. The couple tied the knot in July 2022, a year after rekindling their romance following a 17-year separation.
A source told Page Six that the Oscar-winner has “come to his senses” about his “fever dream” marriage to Lopez. Initially, Affleck was so smitten with the Atlas actress that he couldn’t think clearly. Now, with a clearer head, he reportedly feels he needs to end the marriage, despite spending quality time alone with Lopez in recent days.
The couple has also been looking at new homes after buying a $60 million mansion together last year. Ben has been staying at a home in Bel-Air, and Lopez is scouting new properties, which a source claims is only for “investment purposes.”
“If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would,” the source said. “He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”
