Belle Delphine Finally Gets Her Big Payout From Selling Bathwater After Years-Long Battle

Belle Delphine, one of the most recognized e-girls and OnlyFans models, has finally received a significant payday after a prolonged dispute over her controversial bathwater sales. Known for her viral social media presence in 2018 and 2019, where she posted cosplay videos and performed unusual requests, Delphine stirred up a storm by selling her bathwater to fans for $30 (£24) per container. The product quickly sold out, earning her approximately £71,000.

Despite the success, Delphine revealed that PayPal had closed her account and seized the $90,000 she made from the bathwater sales, which she described as the ‘biggest L’ she had ever taken. After years of battling, PayPal has now reversed its decision and released the withheld funds to Delphine. She expressed relief and reflected on the peculiar yet humorous nature of the bathwater sale, noting the significant media attention it garnered at the time.

However, the situation wasn’t entirely resolved without consequences. PayPal fined Delphine £2,000 for each violation of its rules, amounting to a substantial penalty for every container of bathwater sold. Delphine highlighted the challenges faced by social media influencers in dealing with financial platforms and pointed out the difficulties that regular users might encounter in similar situations.

The policy surrounding adult and sexual content through PayPal allows the sale of physical goods like DVDs, magazines, and in this case, bathwater jars, but only within the US. Delphine, being based in the UK, faced additional complications. PayPal has since dropped the policy on fines, leading to the eventual release of her funds. The resolution came only after Delphine’s public outcry on Twitter, where her post went viral.

Belle Delphine’s experience underscores the complex relationship between content creators and financial services, highlighting the unique challenges faced by those in the adult entertainment industry.
