Tech giant Apple has announced the newest iPhone release with the ‘best ever feature.

CEO Tim Cook teased that February 19 would be the day Apple fans would find out about their latest device.

The iPhone 16e is the most recent upgrade and comes with an A18 chip, Apple Intelligence, an ‘extraordinary’ battery life and a two-in-one camera that takes photos in 4K.

It is ‘built to last’ according to the website and is splash, water and dust resistant.

Built with a ‘ceramic shield’, the glass on the screen is said to be more durable than any iPhone before it.

The OLED design has an ‘edge-to-edge’ design, so it will be ‘perfect’ fir watching HDR videos, reading messages or playing games.

One of its most desirable features according to the fans, is its battery, created with the ‘best ever’ battery life on any 6.1 inch iPhone, lasting an incredible six hours. more than the iPhone 11.

Apple Intelligence will help the user look for ‘just about any photo or video’ while using ChatGPT.

The company’s vice president of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing, Kaiann Drance said: “iPhone 16e packs in the features our users love about the iPhone 16 lineup, including breakthrough battery life, fast performance powered by the latest-generation A18 chip, an innovative 2-in-1 camera system, and Apple Intelligence.

“We’re so excited for iPhone 16e to complete the lineup as a powerful, more affordable option to bring the iPhone experience to even more people.”

The price of the latests iPhone? They start at $599 per month for 24 months and pre-orders will be open on 21 February.
