The actor restrained the trespasser after Barbara Palvin spotted him on their property
Dylan Sprouse had to act fast after a late night scare at his Hollywood Hills home.
The actor reportedly tackled a trespasser to the ground after his wife, Barbara Palvin, spotted someone on their property and called the police.
And it escalated quickly.
According to reports, Sprouse then held the individual at gunpoint until authorities arrived. The suspect never made it inside the house, and no injuries were reported.
It could have been a much worse situation.
But just days later, the couple are already brushing it off.
Speaking at a recent event, both Sprouse and Palvin said they are dealing with the experience in their own way, with humour.
Palvin joked that they are coping by keeping things light, while Sprouse admitted he tends to laugh things off almost immediately.
For him, it is about perspective.
He said that since no one was hurt, they are choosing not to dwell on it and are instead focusing on moving forward.
The suspect was later taken into custody on unrelated warrants, and no further action from the couple has been reported.
It is a scary moment, but one they are clearly not letting define them.
