The actress reveals her health struggles made filming the last episodes especially difficult
Erin Moriarty is not ready to revisit The Boys just yet.
The actress, who plays Starlight, revealed she has not been able to watch the show’s final season after going through a difficult time while filming it.
And the reason is personal.
Moriarty shared that she was dealing with a Graves’ disease diagnosis during production, something that affected her both physically and mentally.
At the time, she did not fully understand what was happening.

But once she got answers, it all made sense.
She explained that the condition left her feeling disconnected for much of the season, admitting she struggled to be as present in her performance as she wanted to be.
Which was tough.
Moriarty said she felt like she was letting both her character and the audience down, especially during the early episodes.
Things eventually shifted.
After starting treatment, she began to feel like herself again and was able to reconnect with the role by the end of the season.
And that change shows in the story.

Her character, Annie, goes through a major emotional arc in the final episodes, including confronting her past and finding a new sense of clarity.
Looking ahead, Moriarty says the finale will hit hard.
She described it as emotional but satisfying, hinting that fans can expect a powerful ending to the series.
But for now, it is still a lot to process.
And watching it back is something she is not quite ready for yet
