A rape allegation against Trump has been detailed in a report released by Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee, based on testimony from former Miss Switzerland pageant contestant Beatrice Keul. She accused President Donald Trump of attacking her at New York’s Plaza Hotel in November 1993. The White House said the allegations were untrue.
Keul gave her account during an interview with the committee as part of its investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking crimes. According to the report, she said Trump and Epstein targeted young women between 16 and 22 through the Donald J. Trump American Dream Pageant, which she described as a “hunting ground” for the two men.
What Keul told the committee
Keul said she was a 24-year-old model when event promoter Jill Harth recruited her to attend the pageant in 1993.
During a promotional luncheon at The Plaza, Keul alleged that Trump approached her and offered to help secure a visa and arrange her admission to New York University. She said Epstein later made similar promises and invited her to a party at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
According to her account, a representative for Trump then invited her to meet him privately in an upstairs hotel suite. Keul said she entered the room believing he intended to discuss opportunities that could advance her career.
She alleged that Trump grabbed her from behind, tore off her dress and raped her, leaving bruises across her body. Keul described the alleged assault to the committee as “brutal.”
Keul further claimed that Trump again offered to help with her visa and university admission if she remained silent, allegedly telling her, “The show must go on.”
What Keul says happened afterward
Keul told the committee that she completed the pageant while in a “daze” before returning to Switzerland. She said she later refused to participate in another Trump-sponsored pageant in Hawaii, scheduled for several weeks after the alleged assault.
Months later, she alleged, Trump telephoned her and renewed his offers involving a visa and admission to New York University. Keul said she declined.
The White House denies the accusation
A White House spokesperson rejected Keul’s account, saying: “None of these allegations are true.” The spokesperson called the Democratic report an attempt to distract from Republican political momentum and Trump’s record in office.
The statement also said Trump had removed Epstein from Mar-a-Lago because “he was a creep” and claimed the president had been “fully exonerated of anything related to Epstein.”
Trump has not been arrested or charged in connection with Keul’s allegation. The committee report records her testimony, while the source material does not describe independent corroborating evidence or a law-enforcement finding concerning her claim.
