Sylvester Stallone Says One Of His Movies Is ‘One Of The Worst Films In The Entire Solar System’

Sylvester Stallone has admitted that he thinks one of his very own movies is ‘one of the worst films in the entire solar system’.

Now, it may be difficult to believe that a man who once struggled to find roles in movies, went on to become one of the most legendary actors in Hollywood history.

From taking on small roles to writing screenplays, Stallone is considered the virile man of Hollywood.

He is perhaps best known for creating and starring in the Rocky and Rambo film series, which made him an icon in the action genre.

In case you didn’t know, Rocky tells the story of a small-time boxer from Philidelphia who has to lace up his boots for a match with the reigning world heavyweight champion.

This movie really brought out the “can-do” attitude in the next generation. It makes sense… if Rocky can do it, why can’t I?

Sylvester found himself rising to further stardom with the initial release of First Blood in 1982.

First Blood was the home of some of the most iconic quotations that everyone’s familiar with but can’t quite remember where they come from, such as: “You trained me. You made me,” and “NOTHING IS OVER! Nothing!” Now you know.

Then came Rambo. Though the 2008 movie did get more of a mixed review. Critics praised the film’s action sequences and Stallone’s performance but criticised the movie’s excessive use of violence, which was deemed more nauseating than entertaining. It’s Rambo though, what else do you expect?

Currently, Stallone holds the title of actor, writer, director, and producer and is best known for his trademark garbled speech and his iconic smile.

However, there is one starring role that Stallone himself is not proud of.

According to UNILAD, the actor deeply regrets his part in Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot, and the only reason he took the movie in the first place is because he thought Arnold Schwarznegger was interested.

Schwarznegger spoke about the role at Beyond Fest, and how he figured he could play with Stallone in regards to the role.

“I read the script. It was so bad. You know, I’ve also done some movies that went right in the toilet, right? That were bad. But this was really bad. So I went in,” he said.

“I said to myself, ‘I’m going to leak out that I have tremendous interest.’ I know the way it works in Hollywood. I would then ask for a lot of money. So then they’d say, ‘Let’s go give it to Sly. Maybe we can get him for cheaper.’”

Back in 2006, Stallone himself spoke about the film: “The worst film I’ve ever made by far… maybe one of the worst films in the entire solar system, including alien productions we’ve never seen… a flatworm could write a better script than Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot.”
