Dua Lipa’s Ex Shares Concerning Post Hours After She Goes Public With New Partner

Dua Lipa’s ex-boyfriend Anwar Hadid sparked concern with a post that he shared following the news that the singer had gone public with her new partner.

Lipa and Hadid dated from 2019 to late 2021, and were one of the hottest celebrity couples at the time. Hadid works as a model, as do his famous siblings Bella and Gigi.

Now, Dua Lipa is one of pop’s brightest young acts, and it’s hard to believe that her rise to stardom began just less than ten years ago. Born in London to Kosovo Albanian parents, Lipa attended Sylvia Young Theatre School, where she uploaded her own songs as well as covers.

From there, the twenty-seven-year-old worked as a waitress while trying to make it in music. In 2014, she got her first big break when her track ‘Hotter Than Hell’ led to her signing a contract with Warner Bros. Records.

By 2016, she was breaking into the top ten with her feature on Sean Paul’s ‘No Lie’, and she went on to release her first album in 2017. From there, Lipa has been unstoppable, with ‘New Rules’ becoming her first UK number 1 record.

Her second album, Future Nostalgia, was released in 2020, and it truly cemented Lipa as one of the biggest names in the music industry, with its hit songs such as ‘Don’t Start Now’, ‘Levitating’ and ‘Break My Heart’.

However, the star’s latest reason for hitting the headlines is not for her artistry, but rather for her personal life.

Lipa recently hard launched her new relationship with French movie director Romain Gavras on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, and it appears that her ex-boyfriend Anwar Hadid did not take it well.

Although he did not mention Lipa or Gavras by name, Hadid shared a series of troubling snaps to his Instagram story, leading to fans feeling concerned for the twenty-three-year-old.

“Trying to not to find and kill him,” he wrote across one, followed by a smiley face.

“I cant breath,” he wrote over another.

“I hate the way you say my name,” he said over a blurry photo of the floor.

He wrote over another: “Have fun.”

The collection of pictures all together led to fans sharing concern.

“WHAT OMG… Oh what does he want from her,” one person wrote.

Another said: “Wait is it because of Dua?? I mean…still???!!!!”

However, others thought Hadid’s posts went too far.

“I feel bad but like this is a bit too much,” one said.

“I don’t get how y’all are giggling at this, men are terrifying,” a second shared.

Hadid has since clarified his comments. In a fresh story, he wrote: “Crazy how the internet will just make whole articles about s*** they don’t know anything about!! Y’all are bored as f***!!!! SORRY.”
