Justin Bieber Speaks Out after ‘Turning Down’ Performing with Usher at the Super Bowl Halftime Show

Justin Bieber has addressed the decision to decline an offer to perform with Usher at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday (February 11).

While the Super Bowl is primarily about the game itself, the halftime show holds significant cultural importance. Over the years, it has featured iconic performances from artists like Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Justin Timberlake. This year, Usher headlined the show, delivering what many considered to be one of the best halftime performances ever.

Joined by Alicia Keys, Jermaine Dupri, H.E.R, Lil Jon, and Ludacris, Usher’s performance was a standout moment. However, some fans were surprised and disappointed that Justin Bieber did not make an appearance on stage, especially considering his presence in the audience with wife Hailey.

Usher and Bieber had previously collaborated on the 2010 hit “Somebody to Love,” leading many to anticipate a reunion at the Super Bowl. Fans took to social media to express their dismay, questioning Bieber’s absence.

TMZ reported that Usher had reached out to Bieber to invite him to join the halftime show. Despite Usher’s efforts, Bieber declined the request. However, sources clarified that this decision did not stem from any animosity between the two artists.

“Justin just wasn’t up for it – he just wasn’t feeling it,” a source revealed.

Despite not participating in the halftime show, Bieber expressed his support and admiration for his longtime mentor Usher. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Bieber praised Usher’s talent and impact on the music industry, reaffirming their close bond.
