Adult Star Kagney Linn Karter Dies Aged 36

Adult film actress and ex*tic dancer Kagney Linn Karter, 36, tragically took her own life, leaving behind a wave of shock and sorrow among her friends and fans.

According to a GoFundMe page established by her friends on behalf of Kagney’s mother to raise funds for her funeral, the p*rn star passed away in her home. Her friends Rachel and Megan shared insights into Kagney’s struggles with mental health over the years.

“Unfortunately, despite all of her many impressive accomplishments and talents, Kagney struggled with mental health issues as the years passed by,” they expressed. “Even in her darkest days, however, she still showed up to the studio, always ready to learn, contribute, better herself in whatever small way she could manage.”

They described Kagney’s resilience and determination, highlighting how she battled her inner demons with the same vigor she displayed in every aspect of her life. Despite her personal struggles, Kagney made efforts to support her friends and the community that cared for her.

Kagney began her career in the p*rn*graphy industry in the early 2000s, starring in notable films such as the Official Silence of the Lambs Parody and Not Married with Children XXX. Although she received several nominations for Adult Video News awards, including top female performer of the year in 2011 and best new starlet in 2010, she did not secure a win.

In 2015, Kagney made headlines when she claimed that musician Chris Brown paid her $2,500 to be his es*ort, accompanied by controversial tweets about him. These tweets, including explicit content, led to the suspension of her Twitter account.

Kagney’s final Instagram post on February 10 depicted her on the beach in Florida, showcasing a bikini-clad picture. In 2019, she relocated from Los Angeles to Ohio, where she became involved in pole dancing fitness studios. Kagney even opened her own pole dancing studio in Akron called Alchemy Pole Fitness.

“Her students and staff remember her incredibly fondly, both as an intelligent and intuitive instructor and as an owner who did all she could to build a little community of her own,” the GoFundMe page stated, reflecting on Kagney’s impact on those around her.
