Real Reason Travis Kelce Has Turned Up To Australia To See Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce, in a heartwarming display of support, flew to Sydney to stand by his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, as she mesmerizes audiences with her Eras Tour. Despite their demanding schedules, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end made a bold statement by prioritizing his relationship with Swift.

A source close to the couple revealed to ET that they are making a concerted effort to support each other amidst their busy careers. Kelce, renowned for his prowess on the football field, demonstrated his commitment by arranging a private jet to be with Swift during her performances in Australia.

The source stated, “Taylor and Travis are both super busy right now, but they are trying their best to prioritize each other and their relationship.” They added, “Travis is very into Taylor and wanted to be there to support her during her shows in Australia. He’s grateful that she showed up for him during a very hectic time in her career and made it a point to do the same for her. They’re making a joint effort to make things work.”

Kelce’s arrival in Sydney coincided with Swift’s sold-out performances at Accor Stadium, marking a significant moment in their relationship. Before the musical extravaganza commenced, the couple took the opportunity to explore the beauty of Sydney together, indulging in the local culture. Images captured by Channel 9 News depicted the couple’s affectionate outing at the Sydney Zoo, where they enjoyed a private tour and bonded with Australian wildlife. Swift, adorned in a pink tank top and denim shorts, was seen hand-feeding a kangaroo, while Kelce interacted with the animals.

On Monday, as the pop star, 34, boarded her flight to Sydney, she sported a Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl LVIII Champs cap and a ‘TNT’ bracelet, both gifted by Kelce. Since arriving in Sydney, Swift has been seen spending time with her Eras Tour opener, Sabrina Carpenter. On Tuesday, the duo was spotted leaving dinner at Pellegrino 2000. In a display of solidarity, Kelce left Los Angeles on Tuesday evening, traveling to Hawaii before boarding a private jet to Sydney to join Swift on tour. It remains uncertain when Kelce will return to the U.S. or if he will stay for all four of her shows.

Kelce’s decision to join Swift in Sydney follows a conversation with his father, Ed Kelce, who hinted at the possibility of his son supporting his GRAMMY-winning girlfriend abroad. Ed shared with The Sydney Morning Herald that following his son’s Super Bowl win in Las Vegas earlier in the month, he asked him, “Are you going to take off for Sydney?” Kelce expressed interest in visiting Sydney and Singapore, according to his father. In November, Kelce was seen supporting Swift in Buenos Aires alongside her father, Scott Kingsley Swift, during night two of the Eras Tour at the Estadio Monumental.

After her time in Sydney, Swift is scheduled to take the Eras Tour to Singapore for a series of six sold-out shows from March 6-9.
