Taylor Swift Flees Australia In Private Jet After Dad Accused Of Assault

Taylor Swift swiftly departed Australia amid reports of her father’s alleged altercation with a local photographer.

Following the conclusion of her Eras Tour in Australia, the 34-year-old singer left Sydney Airport on her private jet, just hours after her father, 71-year-old Scott Swift, was accused of assaulting photographer Ben McDonald.

The incident purportedly occurred at a ferry wharf in Neutral Bay in the early hours of Tuesday morning, following a celebration with Swift and her companions after her final show in Australia on Monday night.

McDonald alleges that Scott Swift punched him in the face, with footage showing the elder Swift walking up the wharf while gesturing obscenely to the paparazzi. Taylor Swift’s spokesperson claimed that the photographers had been aggressive, prompting her father’s reaction, but McDonald refuted this, stating he was not acting aggressively.

McDonald expressed surprise when he realized it was Taylor Swift’s father who allegedly assaulted him, initially mistaking him for a bodyguard. He reported no lasting injuries but noted discomfort from the incident.
