Taylor Swift Fans Slam ‘Inappropriate’ Lyrics During Eras Tour

Fans of Taylor Swift have voiced their dissatisfaction with the use of explicit lyrics during the Australian leg of her Eras tour.

The 34-year-old pop sensation has been captivating audiences across Sydney and Melbourne with her spectacular performances over the past two weeks. However, some fans have raised concerns about her support act, 24-year-old Sabrina Carpenter, whose suggestive lyrics have left certain attendees uneasy.

Sabrina, rumored to be romantically involved with Saltburn star Barry Keoghan, has been performing her popular track “Nonsense” during each set, adding an Australian twist to the outro lines. However, these variations have increasingly veered into X-rated territory, drawing criticism from audience members, particularly given the youthful demographics of Taylor’s fanbase.

During a recent show in Sydney, Sabrina’s risqué rendition raised eyebrows as she sang, “When you go down under, do you miss me? He’s so big I felt it in my kidney, screamed so loud they heard it here in Sydney.”

While some fans lauded Sabrina’s creativity, others took to social media to express their disapproval, labeling the lyrics as inappropriate for a family-friendly event. Amid the mixed reactions, Sabrina’s performance alongside Taylor for a rendition of “White Horse” garnered both admiration and criticism.

Despite the controversy, Sabrina expressed her adoration for Taylor in a heartfelt Instagram post following the performance, thanking Sydney for their warm reception.
