Riley Strain’s Cause Of Death Confirmed After Autopsy

A recent report from local police indicates that Riley Strain’s tragic death is currently considered accidental, with no suspicion of foul play, following a preliminary autopsy.

According to WKRN News 2, the Metro Nashville Police Department has confirmed that the preliminary autopsy on Riley has been concluded, maintaining the stance that his death appears accidental. This aligns with the initial assessment by the police, who, after discovering Riley’s body on Friday, emphasised that no foul play was suspected.

Riley, a college student from Missouri, was found in the Cumberland River approximately eight miles from downtown Nashville, where he had gone missing during a night out with friends.

On Friday, March 8, Riley disappeared after being ejected from Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge Bar. Surveillance footage captured him wandering aimlessly through the city, seemingly in good spirits during interactions with law enforcement.

While 32 Bridge Bar denies overserving Riley, they acknowledge that he was asked to leave due to intoxication. Following his departure from the bar, Riley was traced to the vicinity of the river, confirmed by the discovery of his bank card in that area. Search teams commenced scouring the river after this finding, eventually locating Riley’s body.

RIP.
