Everyone’s Saying Same Thing About Morgan Wallen’s Mugshot After He’s Charged With Three Felonies

Country artist Morgan Wallen was apprehended after an incident at Chiefs Bar in downtown Nashville on Sunday, April 7. Allegedly, Wallen, 30, threw a chair off the bar’s roof onto the street below. Two officers were nearby and narrowly avoided being hit when the chair landed just three feet away. Security personnel at the bar identified Wallen as the culprit, and video footage corroborated the claim, depicting Wallen tossing an object off the roof. Witnesses reported seeing him laughing after hurling the chair over the edge. Consequently, Wallen was arrested and charged with three counts of reckless endangerment for endangering the officers and the public, along with disorderly conduct.

The Metro Nashville Police Department shared a mugshot of Wallen, where he appeared to be smiling broadly.

He was booked into Metro Jail early Monday morning and later released after posting a bond of $15,250. Wallen’s attorney, Worrick G. Robinson, confirmed the arrest, stating that Wallen is cooperating with authorities.

This arrest comes in the wake of Wallen’s previous controversy in 2021 when he was captured on video using a racial slur. The incident led to various radio stations and streaming platforms pulling his music. Wallen issued an apology and donated $300,000 to the Black Music Action Coalition in response.

Wallen is scheduled to appear in court on May 3, coinciding with his tour, which is set to reach Nissan Stadium in Nashville on May 2.
