Love Island personality Tyrique Hyde found himself in a harrowing situation as he marked his birthday in Bali, sharing shocking photos of himself covered in blood following a moped accident.

In a video posted on Snapchat, the semi-professional footballer revealed his injuries and documented the process of receiving medical attention from onsite medics. Tyrique, who had traveled to Bali to celebrate his 25th birthday with friends, including fellow Love Island star Toby Aromolaran, had earlier shared snapshots on Instagram, capturing moments of his beachside birthday festivities.

However, the celebratory mood took a drastic turn when Tyrique later posted a video from a Bali hospital, showing a medic carefully wrapping a bandage around his injured knee. Expressing his disbelief at the turn of events, Tyrique remarked, “Man’s in Bali getting my grazes bandaged up on the first day of my birthday, what kind of life is this man? I didn’t even want to do this but the medic said it would get infected.”

In another video, Tyrique cautioned against the safety of hiring bikes, recounting his own mishap. He explained, “This is what I’m saying, man. They can’t let all the mandem ride bikes. I tried to get on the back of his one. Now look bruv, tattoo’s all gone, knee’s all done up, tee shirt with blood on it.”

The unfortunate incident follows news of Tyrique’s recent breakup with his on/off girlfriend, marking the end of their romance after a tumultuous period. The couple, who met on Love Island last summer and reached the final, have removed all traces of each other from their social media accounts.

Despite their public split, Tyrique previously shared cherished moments with his girlfriend, recalling fond memories of spending Christmas together in Glasgow. Reflecting on the holiday period, he expressed, “That was sick man, I felt like we got proper close. Even though we’re mad close already, that was like a whole other level of closeness. That was really nice.”
