Elliot Page Reveals He Slept With Co-Star ‘All The Time’ While Filming Juno

Elliot Page has disclosed an intimate aspect of his past, alleging a romantic involvement with one of his co-stars during the filming of the acclaimed movie “Juno.”

The 37-year-old actor, who publicly came out as transgender in 2020, revisited this purported fling in his 2023 memoir, “Pageboy.”

In his recollection, Elliot, who portrayed the titular pregnant teenager in the 2007 film, expressed immediate attraction towards his co-star, Olivia Thirlby, who played Juno’s confidante, Leah.

“I was taken aback the moment I saw Olivia Thirlby. She seemed so much older, capable, and centered,” Elliot wrote, reminiscing on their initial encounter. “Sexually open, far removed from where I was at the time. But the chemistry was palpable, it pulled me in.”

Elliot recounted intimate moments from their alleged affair, detailing an instance where they were “sucking face” in a hotel room. According to the actor, Olivia confessed to being “really attracted” to him, and he reciprocated those sentiments.

“It was on. I had an all-encompassing desire for her, she made me want in a way that was new, hopeful,” Elliot continued. He claimed it was one of the first instances where someone made him orgasm.

The actor further asserted that they engaged in sexual activity frequently throughout the filming of “Juno,” recalling various locations where their encounters allegedly took place.

“Her hotel room, in our trailers at work, once in a tiny, private room in a restaurant… We thought we were being subtle. Being intimate with Olivia helped my shame dissipate. I didn’t see a glint of it in her eyes and I wanted that — done feeling wretched about who I am,” he wrote.

Around the same period as the filming of “Juno,” both Elliot and Olivia were slated to star in “Jack & Diane” as the lead characters, portraying two young women who fall in love. However, they both withdrew from the project before production commenced, and other actors were cast in their roles.

Olivia, who publicly disclosed her bisexuality in 2011, subsequently married Jacques Pienaar in 2014, though they filed for divorce in 2021.

Elliot’s revelations come after he disclosed a prior clandestine relationship with Kate Mara, which developed during the filming of “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” He detailed this relationship in his memoir, stating that Kate, who was involved with Max Minghella at the time, found herself “in love with two people.”
