Caitlin Clark Blocks NFL Star Antonio Brown After Vile Instagram Comments

Despite not yet playing her first WNBA game, Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever basketball team has encountered a social media challenge.

Following her selection as the number one pick in the WNBA draft, one would expect Caitlin Clark’s life to be on an upward trajectory. However, despite her remarkable success, the 6-foot point guard has faced significant criticism on social media.

Recently, Clark had to block former NFL star Antonio Brown after he made inappropriate comments about her on X (formerly Twitter). Brown shared a screenshot of the block, accompanied by derogatory remarks, which he later claimed were jokes.

Despite Brown’s insistence on humour, Clark’s fans did not find his comments amusing and swiftly came to her defence. One user remarked, “You deserved it for being weird bro,” while another added, “I honestly think you deserved it.” Others echoed similar sentiments, expressing that Brown’s remarks were unwarranted.

This incident is not the only peculiar interaction Clark has faced. During a press conference, columnist Gregg Doyel made an uncomfortable gesture towards Clark before asking a question. Clark responded gracefully, but Doyel’s comment afterward was met with criticism. He later apologised, acknowledging his error and expressing his intent to do better in the future.
