Jeffrey Epstein’s Black Book With 221 High Profile Names Is Up For Auction

Jeffrey Epstein’s shadow looms large even after his death in 2019, as recent events indicate.

Earlier this year, a judge’s order unsealed court documents revealing Epstein’s associates. These papers were part of a 2015 defamation case filed by Virginia Giuffre against Ghislaine Maxwell, a close associate of Epstein. Initially anonymised as ‘John Doe’ or ‘Jane Doe,’ the revealed names included prominent figures like Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, and Prince Andrew.

Now, Epstein’s infamous ‘little black book’ has surfaced for sale. Said to contain over 200 names, the book is touted by its sellers as a “fascinating relic of criminal history.” It’s worth noting that this book differs from the one in the possession of the FBI since 2004. To safeguard the buyer’s privacy, the older black book is being auctioned through sealed bids. Discovered on a New York sidewalk in the mid-1990s, forensic experts have verified its authenticity.

The Alexander Historical Auctions in Maryland will oversee the sale. Their website advertises the book with an intriguing backstory of its discovery by a Manhattan musician. The auctioneers revealed previously unknown contacts among the book’s 400 entries, with 94 names marked with ticks and five highlighted in yellow. Despite the attention-grabbing names, including Donald Trump’s, there’s no implication of wrongdoing by those listed.

As for its value, Bill Panagopulos, the owner of Alexander Historical Auctions, predicts a wide price range. He suggested it could fetch anywhere between $50,000 to an astonishing $1 million. Panagopulos speculates that due to the confidential and potentially revealing nature of its contents, someone might be willing to pay a hefty sum to keep it out of the public eye.
